Why Self-Identify?

Why Self-Identify?

Brock University is committed to providing services to support Aboriginal student success. There are a number of services available to First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Aboriginal students (Status or Non-Status) who self-identify.

Some of the benefits include tutoring services, exclusive computer lab access and lounge access, laptop lending, a resource library, and print and fax services.

How to Self-Identify

First, through the OUAC (Ontario Universities' Application Centre) application form, declare your Aboriginal status. (If you did not go through this process, please contact us to self-identify within the university). CONTACT US HERE

Second, when you are a student at Brock, please email Sandra Wong (swong2@brocku.ca) or Sean Hoogterp (sean.hoogterp@brocku.ca) to arrange to meet at the Gathering Place for Good Minds (DeCew R212) for orientation and to set up access to services and resources.
