Parkes, June 19, 1884. Entered employ of North Chicago Rolling Mill Co., Milwaukee, 1879, and continued with its successor, Ill. Steel Co., 1897, which merged, 1899, into Republic Iron & Steel Co., of which was sec and mem, exec. com.; in 1900, elected v.p. Plano Mfg. Co., which was merged into the Internat. Harvester Co., pres. Interstate Iron & Steel Co. from organization, 1905; also pres. Chicago Malleable Castings, Co. Mason. Home: Evanston, Ill. Died Sept. 1925.
