Registration Will Begin Today In Columbia Extension Courses.

Registration will begin today in the Extension Department of Columbia University for the Fall and Winter classes. There will be many new courses, according to Dr. James C. Egbert, director of the department. Dr. William I Thomas will give a course on behavior studies. Professor Robert M. MacIver, who recently came to Columbia from the University of Toronto, will have a course on social evolution.

Then University’s first course on the organization of public opinion will be given by George A. Hastings, public relations counsel and social worker.

Other new courses will include one concerning mental factors in social maladjustment by Dr. Stanley P. Davies; social and economic aspects of the housing problem by Dr. Edith Elmer Wood and the human factor in industry with special reference to women by Miss Mary D. Hopkins.
