NEW THOMAS MOVE IMPENDS

Important new developments are expected within the next few days in the case of Prof. William I. Thomas, it was learned today, in the local branch of the department of justice. Just what line the new developments will take is withheld. It is known, however, that the work of the federal agents here has not diminished in the slightest since the dismissal of Prof. Thomas and Mrs. R. M. Granger in the Morals court on charges of disorderly conduct.

The rumors that another man and woman would soon be brought into the case were given more credence by federal authorities to-day when it was declared the investigations, both in Chicago and in the east, related tot the activities of the other couple as well as those of Prof. Thomas and Mrs. Granger. It is the belief in the federal building that new warrants will be asked shortly.
