2009-2010 Theatre in Education Series are ON SALE NOW!

School performances for students in grades JK-12 at the Centre for the Arts, Brock University

Niagara-region students will enjoy greater access to Brock University’s Centre for the Arts Theatre in Education Series this season thanks to a generous contribution from Freedom 55 Financial, the financial security planning division of London Life.

The contribution, made through The Key to Giving™, the national corporate citizenship program of Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life, will provide discounts to students in grades senior kindergarten through 12 and access to a full ticket subsidy application program for students in disadvantaged areas during the October 2009 to April 2010 series.

“The Centre for the Arts, Brock University continually seeks to build and strengthen relationships and make the Theatre in Education Series more accessible to all Niagara students, regardless of income or regional location,” says Sara Palmieri, Centre for the Arts Sales and Marketing Manager.

The Centre for the Arts, Brock University was founded in 1969 to meet the needs of local citizens interested in culture. The Centre now presents a Theatre in Education Series of varied professional arts programming highlighting Canadian and international artists. It is the only venue in the Niagara Region offering a multi-disciplinary program of music, theatre and dance presentation for students of all ages. As one of Canada’s premiere performing arts venues, the Centre fosters excellence, innovation, diversity, integrity and leadership in the arts community ensuring access to all citizens who value the live performing arts.
