MacKenzie Chown Ventilation Study in Blocks B & E

Funding was recently approved for MacKenzie Chown Ventilation Study in Blocks B & E, which have a common fan system. Beginning the week of July 2, a ventilation contractor will be performing a room by room, area by area survey of the dampers, thermostats and other ventilation controls within the rooms and spaces in B & E blocks. Any equipment which is not functioning properly will be adjusted or replaced as part of this survey.Upon completion of these repairs, the system dampers and ductwork will be inspected and air flows will be balanced by an Engineer working in concert with a balancing specialist.The ventilation contractor will be contacting the Administrative Assistants, immediately prior to beginning work in your area. Any offices in use at the time of the inspection will be noted and returned to at a later date. Please notify all Staff and Faculty within your respective departments, of this ventilation survey taking place. Thank you
