This colloquium seeks to engage discussion by addressing the question, “What do educators, graduate students, university professors, and/or educational researchers need to know, be able to do, and to value?”
This question assumes, first, that an individual’s knowledge base and ways of knowing affect how the person functions as an educator and as an educational researcher and, second, that times of transitions signal the need to reshape, reframe, or redefine one’s knowledge.
