Be a volunteer for the Mentor Connector Program
We are recruiting for the Mentor Connector Program - teacher candidates or Master's students who volunteer to work one hour one night a week in NCDSB's online homework helpline! The program is unique in Ontario (and may be unique in Canada) so students who participate have this unique service to add to their resumes in January. As well, this is a priority project of the NCDSB, so Brock students will be introduced to the program by people in the NCDSB Board offices - it's nice to meet people in the board before those all-important interviews! We're really excited about this year - it's a culmination of five years of research, and we feel the program will impact a lot of students this year!! So, we need your help in getting the word out. It's a great opportunity for our students and a very worthwhile service for the Grade 7-10 students receiving the help!
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have ANY questions!
