If you are interested in a Project Wild workshop (you will receive a certificate of completion for your teaching dossier), please sign up as per the instructions and contact information below:

Project Wild one day workshops will again be offered for our teacher candidates this year. This outdoor environmental education workshop has proven beneficial to our students in the past and will benefit our students this year as well.

Three workshops are scheduled to be offered at the St. John's Outdoor Education Centre on Saturdays on Sept. 11, 18, and 25 for the St. Catharines campus. Three workshops are scheduled to be offered at the Hamilton Campus, room 16 on Saturdays Oct. 2, 16, and 23.

Students sign-up for one of these dates. The day long workshop will begin at 8:30 am with registration. Cost is $45. for the many curriculum resources and the workshop day.

Please ask the participants to pay for the workshop by a cheque made out to The Canadian Wildlife Federation for $45.00.

The workshop should be finished about 3 pm that day. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch. Tea, coffee, and doughnuts will be available for participants. Participants need to come dressed for the weather rain or shine.

Usually, participants will attend the workshop that is closest to the campus that they attend but are welcome to come to either. However, it would be best for students to contact me to know whether there is room for them to attend an alternate location from the campus they attend.

Sign-up sheets for the workshop will be posted in the St. Catharines campus on the glass wall opposite reception on Sept. 7. Students are to sign-up there to participate. Their signature is their committment to come and participate. They should sign-up when they are sure they are able to come.

Sign-up sheets will be available at the St. Catharines campus by third week in September, and at the Hamilton campus (location to be determined). Contact Linda Borland if you have any questions: lborland@brocku.ca
