Cohort G

Welcome to the Brock University, Faculty of Education and to Cohort group G. We will be spending the next eight months together preparing you to become a teacher. Our classes on campus will give you the opportunity to exchange ideas, share skills and strategies, keep informed of faculty events and programs, integrate your studies in Foundations (8F08 & 8D09), and work as a supportive team. During your practice teaching blocks, you will have contact with us to observe, counsel, assist and evaluate you. As well we organize your school placements and act as a liaise between the Faculty and the school. As a teacher candidate, you will be treated as a professional and expected to act accordingly. The Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession combined with the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession will serve as the focus for your deportment. We wish you every success and hope that you have a successful year.
