Birthday Bunch invitation

For all of us in Education, this is the "real" new year, n'est-ce pas?? I hope your summer gave you some lovely memories and that you feel ready and excited for another chance to make a difference in this world by touching the lives of your students. :-)A special welcome to all of new faculty and staff members and an invitation to you to join us in the Birthday Bunch for our monthly celebrations of birthdays! Your only responsibility is to join a hosting team for a month and otherwise just to come and enjoy the wonderful food and fellowship and the chance to say "We're glad you were born!" to your colleagues!As many of you know, we were not able to arrange for a summer celebration, so our September celebration will encompass the June, July, August, and September babies (now, that's a lot of candles!!). So far, our hosts for this month's party will be Mike O'S, Debra, Lissa, Peter, and Sandra P. We STILL need a couple more people for this month, so please sign on if you haven't yet hosted for 2008 (there are still at least five people from whom I have not heard as of today).
