High Cost of Driving Ignites Online Classes Boom

Farmer’s Market now on campus
A new Farmer's Market will be held each Friday during the summer at Brock University where fresh produce and other delights are available from local vendors.
Recently taking in the market is Margo Carter, Human Resources, left, who enjoys some of the local produce from Sara and Kim Duffin, of Duffin's Appleworks. The Farmers' Market is held every Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Jubilee Court.
Conditioning Camp for Young Athletes
The Zone Fitness Centre is proud to offer for the first time, a conditioning camp for young, competitive athletes ages 11-14. Ian Young is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a diverse athletic background. The former All-Canadian swimmer turned Ironman triathlete will guide athletes through a variety of speed, strength and agility exercises to ensure they are FIT and FAST for the 2008 season!
MacKenzie Chown Ventilation Study in Blocks B & E
Funding was recently approved for MacKenzie Chown Ventilation Study in Blocks B & E, which have a common fan system. Beginning the week of July 2, a ventilation contractor will be performing a room by room, area by area survey of the dampers, thermostats and other ventilation controls within the rooms and spaces in B & E blocks. Any equipment which is not functioning properly will be adjusted or replaced as part of this survey.
